Live trading can result in substantial losses
Leveraged Forex and CFD trading can cause rapid losses, including the loss of all money in a trading account. Where negative balance protection does not apply, losses can exceed the funds deposited. Leverage increases both gains and losses.
Protection depends on the legal entity, product, jurisdiction and client classification. Do not assume that protections offered by one company in a broker group apply to another. Read the provider’s current risk disclosures and account agreement before funding an account.
A demo is a simulation
Demo accounts use virtual funds. A demo profit is not money you can withdraw, and a successful demo does not establish that a strategy will succeed with real money.
Live trading may differ in liquidity, spreads, slippage, order rejection, execution speed, financing charges and available instruments. A simulated balance also does not reproduce the pressure of losing your own money. Check what the particular platform simulates and what it leaves out.
Opening a demo does not oblige you to open or fund a live account. The broker’s registration and communication terms still apply.
What this site provides
ForexDemo.com provides general research and educational information. It does not assess your financial circumstances, experience, objectives or ability to bear losses. A listing, filter match, comparison or signup link is not a personal recommendation to trade, invest or choose a provider.
The site does not execute trades, hold trading funds or manage client accounts. Broker services and professional technology are provided by the firms listed, under their own terms.
Listings are dated research snapshots. Terms, eligibility and platforms may change. The founder’s past demo-account experience is not a current test of every entity, platform or condition in the directory. Consult the sources in each listing and our research methodology.
Check the exact firm and product
Confirm the legal entity you would contract with, its current regulatory permissions and any restrictions in your country. A familiar platform, brand or demo login does not establish that a provider is authorised to serve you or that funds are protected.
Read the live-account terms for costs, margin close-out, withdrawals, counterparty risk and complaint rights. Seek appropriately qualified independent advice if you need an assessment of your circumstances.
Cryptocurrency CFDs
Cryptocurrency prices can change sharply. A cryptocurrency CFD adds leverage and provider risk to that price exposure; it does not give you ownership of the underlying cryptocurrency.
Availability and restrictions vary by country and client type. Demo access does not establish eligibility for the live product. Do not use a demo listing to bypass local restrictions.
Managed accounts and fund accounting
Managed-account allocation technology and fund-accounting software serve different purposes. A technology listing does not establish a manager’s authorisation, investment performance or the suitability of an investment.
Fund-accounting software does not, by itself, establish that valuations, fees, investor allocations or regulatory reports are correct. Confirm the controls, service scope and responsibilities with the provider and your professional advisers.
